Duvon™ replaced a club's full metal-halide tennis lighting set with Freedom 500W asymmetric heads on the original pole grid — uniform play, instant-on response, member-ready in a weekend.
This Illinois club had outgrown its previous metal-halide installation. Lumen depreciation, slow restrike after winter power blips, and uneven illumination near the back fence were all flagged by the membership.
Duvon's specification replaced every head with a Freedom 500W asymmetric luminaire, configured for the existing 30-foot pole geometry. The Freedom platform's heat-sink design is rated for the temperature swings that come with northern Illinois winters, and the driver enclosure carries an IP66 rating against the wind-driven debris common to the site.
The finished install delivers 49-fc maintained average, 1.2:1 uniformity, instant-on response, and a 64% reduction in connected load. The club has since extended its booked evening hours by an additional 90 minutes per court.
