Duvon™ supplied broadcast-grade resort court lighting calibrated for club exhibition matches — high vertical illuminance, sub-0.10 flicker, and a clean dual scene preset.
The Club at Omni La Costa hosts club exhibitions and high-tier sponsor events, so the lighting brief went beyond recreational play. We had to deliver broadcast-quality colour rendering, flicker-free output for high-frame-rate cameras, and tight horizontal/vertical illuminance balance for player faces during interviews.
Duvon supplied Freedom Series fixtures with 70 CRI optics and a TLM (temporal light modulation) flicker index below 0.10, validated against the camera spec sheet supplied by the broadcaster. Vertical illuminance on the camera-side service line was modelled at 100 fc, and the horizontal-to-vertical ratio held inside the 0.5-2.0 broadcast window across the playing envelope.
The install supports both "resort play" and "broadcast" presets via the venue's existing DALI control bus, switching cleanly between energy-efficient evening play and full-output match conditions.
